I’ve lived in Arizona since I was 2.5 years old, so I consider myself a native. I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Amanda going on 16 years, and we have a wonderful 4-year-old son. We also currently have two tabby cats and have had adopted a number of pets from animal shelters over the years. In my free time, I love to spend time with my wife and son outdoors, checking out a new park or camping. I also love to hike and try to get out at least twice a month, often while photographing a proposal or engagement, and I make it a goal to add a few new trails every year. I’m an amateur birder, always looking to add new "lifers" to my life list, and I can identify birds often just by sound alone. My appreciation for nature has a lot to do with being the son of a forest service employee and an artist, who regularly took me and my brother on camping trips. I was also an active boy scout, camping every month, and eventually earned my Eagle. My interest in photography started out by capturing landscapes and flora and fauna on my hiking and camping trips. This naturally merged into weddings after being asked to photograph some for friends and family. I have been photographing weddings for 20 years now, and have worked as a lead photographer on over 250 weddings.
