My name is Julie! I have been married for 13 years and have 4 beautiful children...2 boys and 2 girls. My family is my life and the reason that I am a professional photographer. I am originally from Southern California, but Colorado has been my home for the past 13 years and probably will be from here on out. When I am not taking or editing photos, I can be found scrapbooking, sewing or crafting, shopping, watching my kids play sports, golfing with my husband, or camping with my family. When my youngest was born, she had photos taken in the hospital and I thought that would be a fun job. Since I had taken photography classes and owned a camera, I started doing newborn sessions on the weekends. I eventually met a handful of other photographers who have since become my closest friends. I asked one of them if I could tag along to a wedding some time and she let me. As soon as I did, I knew that I had to add "Wedding Photographer" to my resume. I went to a few more weddings with her and then enrolled in an intern program to really get the experience that I needed. Fast forward a handful of years and here I am. I am a full-time photographer, have shot over 150 weddings, and am totally in love with my career!
